Marya is an analytical and experienced nonprofit director with a progressive 20-year career in a diversity of human service and grassroots development settings. She has expertise in leading stakeholders - from participants and employees to entire programs and departments - to successful outcomes. Marya is skilled in fund development, grant writing, data evaluation and reporting and is experienced in community building, program development, and program scaling in response to large increases in client needs. She was commended by the city of Daly City for advocacy, leadership, and service to the community during the COVID-19 crisis. Marya holds a BS degree in Human Development and Family Sciences with a minor in Spanish. She is bilingual, speaking English and Spanish. When she's not working, Marya spends time with her family and dog, enjoying the outdoors, baking together, and participating in faith-based activities.
